The “Ex” Factor: Welcome To The Single Moms Club

Asalam Alaykum sisters. I am sharing an article which deals with some of the issues encountered by divorced women. I wish it serves as an awareness on the following facts:

1) Women are not always the ones at fault. You don’t know people’s story so don’t judge.

2) It is hard for a woman to be left alone with children as she has to be both the dad and mom.

3) Single moms, do not despair in the help and mercy of Allah as before you: Maryam (May Allah be pleased with her) – the mother of Prophet Issa (Jesus) raised her son alone. Khadija (May Allah be pleased with her) was a divorcee before being married to Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).

It is a sad truth that people think of divorced women as humans who bring bad luck, or women that one should avoid at any cost.
